A Storm Within

I had the wonderful opportunity to stumble across David Ellis, a handsome British poet/magician and a man of various skills. I had so much fun writing this and I am very sure there are too many to follow. This is my first Daily Prompt and  I hope I do it right. Lol, I could ever get the hang of it fully. Still, I am trying.. sweating.. still trying 😀

Daily Prompt: Brainwave by Krista on December 30, 2013.

What’s the best idea you’ve ever had? Regale us with every detail of the idea — the idea itself, where it came to you, and the problem it solved.

Photographers, artists, poets: show us BRIGHT.

“A Storm Within” (by TooFullToWrite & A Shade of Pen )

In the hues of your eyes
There is a storm within
Somehow, I feel the rage
As a part inside of me aches

The soft, sensual breeze on the ocean
Giddy heights of the mountains
Hands so warm, soft, engulfing, inviting
Your gentle caress changing each time

Every stroke takes me back
To the times we together spent
Entwined in the ruddy lanes of love
As we were but oblivious of the world

How exotic these shared, cherished moments
Sat on the precipice of our raw emotions
Resonating, rampant, ravishing our senses
Consumed by lustful fires never to be quenched

Today, as I stare in those eyes
I still see the fire burning hot
My heart goes ablaze instantly
As your hungry eyes invite me in

The roar now intensifying into a crescendo
Hammering feverishly, deep within my chest
Stirring, yearning, an impetuous cocktail
Room spinning wildly, infatuation takes control

I can never have enough
I am hungry for more
The years we’ve spent apart
Has further fired our hearts

So know as I graze, brush, touch, absorbing you
Bathing in your delicate, effervescent beauty
I can’t imagine a world without you now
You balance and fulfil me so completely

Together we lay
Lost in the moment
As time freezes for eternity
And our love shines bright
