I love writing with Jen at Think Speak Tryst. It amazes me how we continue to connect with people through poetry. It dissolves distances as you feel connected in a parallel universe. I loved how the piece flew from one part to other seamlessly. Have a ride.
I am helpless when I see your smile
I melt into a puddle of love
As I stare at the roads ahead
I always see my steps synced with you
Here I stand, a forcible strength of will
Letting it all go and without hesitation
To tell you the words that ring through my soul
It is you whom I need, to have and to hold
Regardless of the storms that life will throw
I will hold your hand and bear it all
After all, it is sorrow that brightens “joy”
Just like it is you, who breathes “breath” into my life
We walk along the cobble stone paths
Air brushing our cheeks like summer warmth
These moments in time, with you by my side
Wash away all the rain inside of my mind …
Together we march like we have no care
Love, affection and happiness is in the air
I smile at seeing your beautiful eyes
Because in it, I see the reflection of my smile
Our mirror reflection in the water below
With you by my side, we will continue to grow
Only until we see the setting sun
Our time is now, things have only just begun..
I will sail with you to the end of times
And make you smile with silly rhymes
There is nothing that will hold me back
Together, we will grow old, hand in hand.

Water and love do go together 🙂
Did you know:
• There are nearly 1 billion people in the world that don’t have clean, safe water.
• The women and children that collect water spend approximately 40 billion hours getting it.
• This detracts from their ability to do other work, or get an education.
• It takes $20 to supply one of these people with a clean water supply.
• Each dollar spent provides an economic return of $12.
• Not least because of the drop in medical care and infant mortality.
• Can you spare a single dollar for this campaign to bring clean water to 50,000 people?
• That’s less than a third of the price of a cup of coffee.
• All money goes to providing water not to admin costs or profit.

If you can’t spare a single dollar, please pass this message on to others that might.
